Women often come to see me for cosmetic facial consultations and many of them will mention in the course of describing their new program of self-improvement that they are also losing weight. At that point I tell them, draw an imaginary line across their neck and whenever the outcome of your weight loss will be in terms of your satisfaction, above that line you will have the opposite affect of satisfaction below that line whether it is weight gain or weight loss.
Certainly when we loss weight our bodies look better and we feel much better about ourselves and that is very important, however when that happens our face does pay a price. If you have any facial lines or wrinkles, creases, contours, hollows or sagging you could be sure that losing weight will make them a little bit deeper and make them look a little bit worse.
On the other hand if you gain weight you may not like the way your body looks but any of these facial issues that you have will get a little better.
So whether you are gaining weight or losing weight you can be sure that with at least your face or your body you will be happy and I hope you will be happy with both.
